Tassos Kotzanastasis

Tassos is an experienced property investment professional with more than 25 years of experience in the fields of property investment and management. He is the founder and managing director of the 8G Group, a private equity real estate firm with principal and advisory activities in Europe, Asia and Africa. Prior to 8G, he was a founding director of the European arm of HSBC Property Investments, the principal property investment arm of the HSBC Group in London and before that a director at Prudential Real Estate Investors. His work experience also includes Henderson Investors (now TIAA-CREF) and MSCI. Tassos holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics & Accounting from the University of Bristol and an MSc in Land Management from the University of Reading. He is a CFA charter holder and a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS).
He is a regular speaker at conferences in Europe and Asia and a contributor to the financial press on matters related to property investments. He’s currently a Global Governing Trustee of the Urban Land Institute.
