Stephanie is a member of the law firm Y. Georgiades & Associates LLC since 2015. She has had the opportunity to be involved in a number of high-end cases in Cyprus mainly with international clients, with high claims in damages for breach of contract, cross-border disputes and various other corporate and commercial disputes. She is also part of the legal team responsible for preparing and drafting accelerator agreements for business accelerator companies and has extensively been involved in negotiations with various companies and start-ups in Cyprus. She has been involved in complicated merger and acquisition transactions, such as for a top beverage distribution company in Cyprus and has also been instructed to research and assist with the drafting of opinions for reputable airline and pharmaceutical companies.
Stephanie is the Head of the Corporate Department of the law firm, inter alia dealing with company registrations, citizenship applications and drafting of various agreements for clients and their businesses. She is involved in the promotion of Arbitration in Cyprus and specifically has been appointed as the Deputy Secretary General of the Cyprus Chapter of the European Court of Arbitration and Mediation for Commercial Disputes. She has experience in litigation, corporate and commercial law, cross-border disputes - private international law, real estate, investments, alternative dispute resolution, medical negligence and intellectual property law.
