Monica Tsartsali

Monica Tsartsali is currently a Grants Officer at the American University of Beirut – Mediterraneo, where she leads the identification of funding opportunities and the management of grants for research initiatives. With a strong background in proposal writing, project coordination, and full-cycle management of national and EU-funded projects, Monika brings both strategic insight and hands-on expertise to every initiative she supports.
She holds a BSc in Economics with a specialization in Business and Finance, as well as an MSc in Business Economics – Technology, Innovation, Management, and Entrepreneurship (TIME MBE) from the University of Cyprus.
Previously, Monica served as the Operations Officer at ARIS | A Really Inspiring Story, an acceleration program run by Deloitte’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre. There, she played a pivotal role in supporting and mentoring tech-based start-ups and scale-ups globally. Her work focused on helping founders develop go-to-market strategies, develop or refine business models, build compelling pitch decks, and enhance their investor-readiness.
In addition to mentoring start-ups and scale-ups, Monica has contributed to the development of proposals for national start-up funding schemes and remains an active member of the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
