Marianna Moran
Business Tax Manager, Deloitte’s Tax & Legal Department
Marianna is a Business Tax Manager at Deloitte’s Tax & Legal Department and is the leader of the Global Investment and Innovation Incentives (Gi3) service in Cyprus. With over 8 years of experience in tax, she currently specialises in international business tax advisory. During her degree in Law, she majored in social policy topics, participated in Entrepreneurship and Financial Markets bootcamps and had an internship with a social enterprises and well-being consultancy in London. She then pursued the ACA qualification for her to gain a well-rounded foundation in business.
Marianna had been involved in a number of innovation and incentives-related projects with the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre (IEC). She has been a mentor to ARIS resident start-ups, since ARIS’ inception, and has been delivering presentations on innovation-related tax matters and incentives. She has written articles/created content on incentives for social entrepreneurship, the relationship between tax and ESG and the role of tax in the green transition. Further, she has been a pitching judge for start-ups for ARIS, IDEA Factory (CUT) and the IDEA Innovation Centre.
