Maria Lavithi was born and raised in Cyprus and in 1999 left for the United States to study and explore the world. She graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in Creative Writing.
She spent the next ten years doing Business Development in large corporate companies in the USA. She worked in the Hospitality, Medical and Financial Industries before deciding to move back to Cyprus in 2011. She founded ‘MyBook Heroes’ after being inspired by her own daughter to bring change in children’s literature and empower children as early as possible to trust their abilities and thrive. She has a passion in helping others and seeing ideas come to life!
