Irene is the Chief of Staff and is responsible for the Human Resouces Division, the CEO Office and the Transformation Office.  She’s responsible for developing and implementing an HR strategy that is in line with the strategy, vision and mission of the Bank, as well as providing support and counsel to the CEO.

She joined the Bank in 2002 and following her training, she served as a Business Banker in a Retail branch for a year and then as a Relationship Officer in Corporate Banking until December 2010.  Following that, she was appointed as a Human Resource Business Patner in the Limassol Region until February 2014.  In March 2014, she joined the Restructuring & Recoveries Division as the Regional Manager of Corporate Arrears Management Units in Limassol and then in July 2016 she returned to Corporate Banking Division, as Manager of a Corporate Banking Centre in Limassol.  Finally, from September 2019 until December 2020 she held the position of the HR Director, before being upgraded to Chief of Staff.

Irene holds a BSc in Mathematics and Business Studies from Warwick University, UK and an MSc in Banking and International Finance from Cass Business School of City University London.
