Agni Jacovides studied Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science and then received an MSc degree on Management Science from Imperial College of Science and Technology in London. She had a successful career at the Bank of Cyprus, the largest bank on the Island, for 33 years, rising through the ranks at varied posts, thus having experience in many aspects of the commercial banking field – She left the Bank from the post of Group Operational Risk Manager. From 2013 onwards, after leaving the Bank of Cyprus, she held various posts such as member of the Board of Directors of the Lakatamia-Dheftera Cooperative Credit Society, member of the Board of Directors of RCB bank, Member of the Board of Directors of NIPD, Member of the Examination Board for Insolvency Practitioners. She is now a member of the Board of Directors of IPET Technologies Ltd, an engineering firm based in Cyprus developing cutting edge technologies in the PET production field. She is also a Board member of Kramvis Estates Ltd, an estate holding company active in Cyprus and UK.
